Surprising Midnight opera - private concerts in Saint-Petersburg

 Let us invite you to the very private event – private opera concert in Saint Petersburg, the first Russian nighttime show of the opera stars. What happens in the opera when the applause stops, artists walk away from the stage, the curtain draws and the musicians fold their instruments and go home after the evening performance? Now it is time for the magic- Midnight opera.  

At the Midnight opera, the stars sing at your arm’s length. In an informal atmosphere, they perform favorite opera pieces, sharing with you their emotions and stories. Any member of the audience has the opportunity to socialize with the actors, ask him or her questions. In return, artists talk about the performed pieces as well as themselves.

Each meeting is special, full of all kinds of surprises. Maybe two tenors or sopranos will start a match with one another, competing in the performance of the same aria, perhaps someone from the audience would like to act as an opera singer, singing his or her favorite piece to the accompaniment of the leader of the orchestra.

Five or six performers usually take part in the concert, including the soloists of the major opera houses of Russia and Europe. The program consists of arias, duets and ensembles from popular operas, romances and songs.

The concert usually lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours. The venue is one of the best restaurants in St. Petersburg and a closed art house in a mansion located in the historic part of our city.

Midnight opera show is held once every 2-3 weeks and its schedule is planned usually a month in advance. So please contact us when you are ready to join this performance to book the best seats.

 You can simply order The Midnight opera tickets with us or it can be a part of your tailor-made programme. Tickets cost from 3000 rubles (approx. 80 dollars) and include a glass of wine and a fruit plate. You can order more drinks and snacks or have a dinner in the restaurant.

Midnight opera show starts usually at about 9 pm and lasts for 1.5-2.5 hours. The Midnight opera is comfortable for both – individuals and groups. The language of the show is Russian. You will be accompanied by our representative or the interpreter to be plunged in all music details and nuances if needed. For the bigger groups the show can be held on two languages or it can be arranged fully on your individual request.
