Guided tour of the Faberge museum

It is one of the most brilliant museums of the city! It is the private museum at the same time.It was opened in 2013.

The Imperial Easter eggs - the core of its collection, but there are many  so called jewelry trifles, exhibited at the interiors of this musem ( works made by the russian masters dated the end of 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries). These are clocks in beautiful frames decorated with special enamel ( invented by Faberge- more than 140 hues!), photo-frames, snuffboxes decorated with diamonds, small boxes for business cards, toilrt bag , belt buckles, holder for pins in the shape of the royal carriage, support for matches in the shape of pig ( its sides are served for match-striking), bonbonniere arm-chair for keeping small candies inside, the lovely ink-set belonged to the Rothschid's ( can be easily recognized by their family style- blue-yellow strips), the small bell to call a lady-in waiting, bowls, plates, caskets...

And everything is exposed in the regal interiors ! it took my breath away - luxury, high skill and impeccable taste!
